Before I Filmed This Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor And Joker Hot Rod?
During my second visit inside the Crewe Heritage Centre venue, I filmed various cars until I saw an eye-catching Model 3. The pearlescent white paintwork and show plate caught my eyes.
I asked the owner, "please can I film and photograph your Model 3?" The owner said, "sure,". I mentioned, "one of my neighbour's son's owns a metallic Model 3. It looks stunning".
I also asked, "what's the Hod Rod based on?" The owners "said it's a Ford Popular with a Ford Ka interior". Interestingly enough, there's a smaller version of the Joker Hot Rod for their children.
How I Film This Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor And Hot Rod?
I started with a detail scene of the Model 3 with parts of the poster to the rear wheel to draw my audience. Then, I filmed a rear wheel to the front wheel and a panning pillar scene of the Tesla, showing the car's lines.
Next, I wanted to introduce the Ford Popular, with an establishing walkthrough scene of the Ford. Afterwards, I filmed a scene of the back of the Popular, showing the portraiture of Joker (which is a highlight).
Then I recorded a rear to front (vice versa) walkthrough detail shot of the Popular, showing the eye-catching metallic purple paintwork.
How I Edited The Video Of The Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor And Hot Rod?
I began editing a video of the Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor to provide a skeleton structure and flow to the film. I applied colour grading to each clip of the Ford Popular, providing a cinematic touch to the film.
Then, I changed the hue to make the paintwork look more accurate on the Popular, desaturated the yellows to teal of, boosted the blues to the pink of the Hod Rod's video.
After that, I placed the Ford Popular scenes in the second to fourth video. I used transitions to provide a psychedelic yet unpredictable atmosphere with some pushes, slides and zooms.
For the soundtrack of the Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor and Joker Hot Rod video, I wanted a calming lo-fi song to Jux oppose the subjects in the film.
I changed the EQ.
Then, I increased the reverb for a more spacious soundscape.
Afterwards, I lowered the pitch for a relaxing vibe.
Finally, I hard-limited the soundtrack to -12db for consistency.
After editing the song for my video, I warp stabilised specific clips of the Joker Hot Rod for a smoother feel to the film.
Conclusion
Do you think opposites attract? Yes, the magnets attract at the right angle, and cheese and toffee popcorn taste phenomenal together - it is not always the case. The Model 3 and Ford Popular contrast well against each other.
