Lotus Europa S2
Do you like to simplify and add lightness? Not sure. Though the modern Lotus's tend to be decadent, it's fantastic to go back in time and see overlooked Lotus like this Europa S2.
In the Mid-60's the Lotus Europa S2 was a plush sports car which is also affordable. The Lotus Esprit overshadowed the Original Europa, but the nameplate came back in the Mid-00s with an Elise based gran tourer. Fascinating.
Mitsubishi Colt Galant Coupe
Would you've known this Mitsubishi Colt Galant Coupe came from Japan? Nah. I'd say so too - I initially thought this Colt Galant came from British Leylands. But, Dad pointed out the Mitsubishi badge on this Colt.
Later, when editing this picture of the Colt Galant Coupe, I discovered this Mitsubishi imported from South Africa, looking reasonably clean at the stand.
Dimma Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9
Are you getting Group B rally vibes from this Dimma Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9? Yeah. I know you would, with its Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 wild arches. Imagine going all-out in this Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 on the gravel?
I had to be rapid when photographing this Dimma Peugeot 205 GTi. The 205 GTi turns heads, never mind with the ultra-rare Dimma Signature Series body kit.
Fiat 500 Giardiniera
What word would you describe this Fiat 500 Giardiniera? Versatile. Though 500 Giardiniera's not as large as the original 600 Multipla, it makes up for it with character.
It's a treat seeing the original 500, even better photographing the 500 Giardiniera against the auction house. Sure looks classier than the Fiat 500 L. Yup!
Honda C100 Sport
Where would you ride this Honda C100 Sport? M6. Are you bonkers - Still, I'm doubtful these Honda C100's allowed on the motorway. However, it makes up for it with a pristine finish and oodles of character.
While photographing "The Fastest Jaguar E-Type", I came across this Honda C100 Sport. Though I don't photograph many motorbikes, I thought I'd photograph this C100 sport for variety and its charm.
Conclusion
From the Lotus Europa S2 to the Fiat 500 Giardiniera, I liked the variety of charming classic cars and bikes at the Hampson Auctions stand.
