After I filmed a Ford Capri 2.8 Injection for a client at Hampson Auctions, Zach gave me a briefing. Do a walkthrough video and pictures of the Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe showing the car's angles by 6 PM.


How I Filmed This Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe


The first scene I filmed of this XK150 Drophead Coupe was a front-three-quarter angle of the Jaguar to showcase the subject's lines. I wanted to showcase the opulency of the Jaguar's front with a detailed panning shot of the lights and grill.


Next, I filmed a rear-three-quarter walkthrough of the Jaguar XK50 Drophead Coupe, previewing more subject angles. Then, I recorded an interior segment of the XK150 Drophead Coupe showing the craftsmanship of the seats of the Jaguar.


The following day, Jonny set up the Edelkrone DollyPlus for a front-thee-quarter scene of the Jaguar for more cinematic footage.


Finally, Jonny set up the Edelkrone JibOne, panning from the XK150 Drophead Coupe, Concorde, crowd and Bristol 404 to show the sheer grandeur of the event.


How I Edited The Video Of This Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe


I firstly began by importing the Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe clips and renaming the files to Hampson Auctions Tour to make searching the videos easier to find while searching through the film.


Then, I imported the files into a film folder to make searching easier. The first scene I edited of the Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe was the front-three-quarter walkthrough.


I colour graded the, then I clip slowed the scene by 20% for a cinematic feel and exported the clip. I later imported the clip.


The second clip was of the XK150 Drophead Coupe front-three-quarter angle dolly shot. I colour graded the film. Then I sped up the scene by 400% for a more realistic touch.


The third clip of the Jaguar was of the front detail scene, which I colour graded the video and slowed the clip by 20%. I also exported and re-imported the clip into the stabilise folder.


The fourth scene of the XK150 Drophead Coupe was a panning video of the Jaguar to Bristol 404. I colour graded the film and sped up the clip to 400% to match the pace of the showreel.


The fifth scene of the Jaguar was the rear-three-quarter walkthrough. I colour graded and slowed the clip by 20%. I exported the clip for later use.


The final segment of the XK150 Drophead Coupe was of the Jaguar's interior. I added a preset and slowed the clip by 20%. I export and re-imported the clip into the stabilise folder.


Next, I stabilised the Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe clips for a smoother touch to the films. Finally, I chose a lo-fi jazz soundtrack for a contemporary yet classy soundscape.
