During The videoshoot
Towards 11 O'Clock, I noticed a few Audi R8's leaving meet. So I thought, "Let's grab my Gimbal and head towards the entrance!" Great idea. I started to film the first R8's leaving the meet with style.
Though I went back for some b-roll and pictures of the Audi R8's at the meet, more R8's began to depart the event. So, I headed to the exit and filmed the Audi R8's heading home.
After recording most of the Audi R8's leaving the meet, Dan asked me, "please could you record my Audi R8 V8 departing from the event. And, record the soundtrack from my R8's exhausts? I said, "sure".
I went back towards the entrance and placed my microphone onto my camera's hotspot? Why. The mic has a wind-resistant filter, perfect for hearing Dan's Audi R8's ModStock exhaust. What a soundtrack!
Pre-Editing the Video
After writing my R8 Adventures British Motor Museum Meet video on my website and organising the R8 Adventures members on my shop, Paul emailed me, "fantastic video and article! Please can you make a video of the Audi R8's entering/exiting the meet?"
Editing the video
After finishing my Club 24 Hour photoshoot and Hampson Auctions gigs, I edited a video of the R8 Adventures leaving the meet video on Premiere Pro.
I placed a skeleton structure of Audi R8s' exiting the meet with finesse. I started with a white Audi R8 V8 entering the meet and ending with Dan's black Audi R8 V8 with a phenomenal sound.
I shortened the clips to make the video more engaging, and I colour graded each clip for a cinematic touch. Exciting! I finally added a Lo-Fi track as a background sound to complement the fantastic sounds of the Audi R8s'.
Conclusion
How many Audi R8's have you seen? Two. Though I've seen a dozen Audi R8's, I haven't seen 37 R8's in one space to the R8 Adventures British Motor Museum Annual Meet.
