Vauxhall Astra Bertone Coupe
What word would you describe the paintwork on this Vauxhall Astra Bertone Coupe? Extravagant. You've got me there - with its low rider-inspired livery, it brought a fun flavour to the event.
While filming the Purple Nissan 350Z at TRAX Silverstone 2021, I had a limited time photographing the Sugarskull Car Club, but the shine on the pearlescent green made it worth my time to shoot this Astra Bertone Coupe.
Ford S-Max
Is your favourite people carrier the Ford S-Max? No. Come on - Though the Zafira VXR's a more potent MPV, it doesn't compare to the subtlety and driving dynamics.
After speaking to Laura of the Sugarskull Car Club, I knew I had to get a picture of her slick S-Max. I slept on editing a photo of Laura's Ford; the gothic bonnet made my choice.
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI

During the golden hour at TRAX Silverstone, I had the advantage of photographing the Sugarskull Car Club without having many people swarming around the motors. Case in point - this picture of this Lancer EVO VI.
Ford Focus MK1
Why is this MK1 Ford Focus so unique? It's rare - Incorrect, from its headlights to taillights, the Focus's did minimalist design 20 years before Tesla did with the Model S.
Though I could've gotten a front-three-angle showing the lines of this Ford, I wanted to get another angle and show the beauty of this Focus with the cars arriving at the meet.
Honda Civic EK3
Do you like the looks of this Honda Civic? Nah. Though some people might be overwhelmed with Max Power looks - Others' love the all-out appearance of this Civic.
One of my favourite aspects of this Civic is the vibrant pink-purple wrap. When photographing this Honda, I wanted the Civic to pop against the background, and I used saturation to make the subject stand out.
Ford Puma
Do you reckon Robin would drive this Ford Puma? Yeah. I'd say so - With its zesty style and agile driving dynamics. This Puma's the perfect partner in crime with many Fast Fords.
More cars packed into the TRAX Silverstone show, so I knew I had a finite amount of time to photograph a part of the Sugarskull Car club before the people crowded the vehicles. The hood scoops a striking detail of this Puma.
Conclusion
If you describe Vivid Auto Photography as a club, Sugarskull Car Club is the name. From zesty Ford Puma to the extravagant Vauxhall Astra Bertone Coupe - You don't have to splash out for an eye-catching car.
