What have you been doing during the lockdown? Not much. Sure, I've practised photographing my friends and family's cars during the lockdown.
My first photoshoot during lockdown was the Volkswagen Polo TSi at the beginning of April. The weather was overcast but got the freedom to move around the Polo.
I liked the clean background in my front three-quarters picture of the Volkswagen Polo.
Porsche 911 Carrera S (997)
The next motor I photographed during lockdown was the silver Porsche 911 Carrera S. The location was garden where I had more freedom to move around the Carrera S.
It was excellent meeting one of my neighbours because I liked talking to the individual, seeing their Golden Retriever puppy and getting quality pictures of the Porsche 911. A win-win game!
BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition
You can't go wrong with a BMW 3 Series. Especially a Shadow Edition. When the owner of the 3 Series went to work, I took some pictures of the BMW on a sunny afternoon.
Thankfully, I got a quality poster format picture of the 3 Series Shadow Edition. And, played around the bright lights and dark shadows. An hour later, the photoshoot; it rained heavily.
Aston Martin DB6 Superlaggera
What's the best car I've done a photoshoot during the lockdown? Ssangyong Rodius. In your dreams. Still, mum and I arranged if we can take pictures of the Aston Martin DB6.
I liked photographing around the Aston Martin DB6, capturing the intricate details of the wire-spokes. It was a fantastic opportunity shooting a classic grand tourer from the mid-'60s.
During the lockdown, I met a variety of kind people and capture pictures in unique places which, I wouldn't usually have. Its gave me to make people's day and to see their reactions.
